The camera obscura was the first form of camera. Leonardo Da Vinci founded this form of photography where he was sleeping in this dark chamber and there was a little hole through his shutter where when he woke up the wall opposite from him, his view of the town upside down. The picture appears upside down because light rays move in a straight line in an angle from a small hole through to a wall so the picture is projected upside down. This was very interesting to learn because with just hole in a tarp to a big screen the picture was blurry, but when we went through a lens into a small space where we were able to move the screen, the picture was very clear. Some of the photography down below is by this modern photographer named Abe Morell. He is one of the only famous photographers t continue using camera obscura.
