Technique on Photos
1. Backlit
- As you can see, Savannah has a bright outlining of light around her which is what you achieve when you do back lighting. The sun was coming from behind her.

-In my image, Maya and Shelby are spinning around and i used a longer exposure to make their hair and hands a little blurry.

3. Framing
- To achieve a framed look, i just simply made Alyssa make her hands into a box and focused it on her eyes to show a framed look.

- My sister had on these reflective glasses, so i took a picture of them by a reflection off of my sisters glasses.

5. Rule of Thirds
- I had my friend lay on the ground and moved the camera so she was in the corner of the image to create rule of thirds.

-It was later in the evening with that sun was about to set and i had my friends try different positions until the shadows were very long and sort of popped out.

- The light is hitting the side of her face and she didn't mean to moved in this specific position but it achieved the look.

- I used the light meter to adjust to the sky and then panned it down on the ground to achieve this silhouette look.

-I just got a close up of her eye to make a very simple yet interesting picture.
